My Story
Angela Lanell is a multidisciplinary artist hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, and now residing in Atlanta, GA. Her artistic journey began at the age of seven with a passion for drawing that ignited her creative spirit. At the age of nine, she was introduced to the captivating world of charcoal art and it was love at first stroke.

She went on to earn her B.S. in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, later stepping away from her craft to pursue a professional career. Ultimately, her creative calling drew her back, and she has since dedicated herself to art full-time.

Angela draws inspiration from feminine existence, raw emotion, and the beauty of lived experience. Her practice spans her signature black canvas charcoal works, acrylic paintings with gold accents, and luminous resin pours. Through each medium, she explores resilience, identity, and transformation while inviting viewers to connect on a deeply emotional level.
